So I watched the newest sequel to the Twilight franchise, and I have to warn you….. it’s not as terrible as people think it is!

I’m a fan of  the Twilight Saga, but I kind of get why for the most part only Tween fans are raving about it; it’s not exactly Shakespeare or Anne Rice. So if you read to enrich your literature knowledge or something, skip it.

I like to review movies and blockbuster buffs usually agree with my tastes. But with Twilight it will go something like: you like all these cool things but you have to ruin it all and like Twilight!

For the most part I’m confused too….. I mean, why can’t they like it??! LOLOL!

Sure, it’s not the best movie out there, but it’s NOT horrible! I watch movies every week, so I would think I’m a good judge of blockbuster movies. And I definitely won’t say it’s a good film just because I am a fan.

With all the good movies out this year like Iron Man 2, Prince of Persia, A-Team, Toy Story 3, Karate Kid, Knight and Day, etc. (apologies, they are coming out much faster than I can review them =P) I was honestly not looking forward to Eclipse. I mean, I read the book, so I didn’t feel that I would get something new here. But yeah, I should know that Books and Movies are two different things.

And for Twilight, I think you can hate the book, but rave about the Eclipse Movie.

OMG Now that was something. I can’t stop smiling right now.

I’m so in love with him, I mean, the film, yeah :] But you know, Jake Gyllenhal a.k.a. Dastan wasn’t bad. He’s like only hot and stuff, he did his own stunts (even learned Parkour), he’s witty and humorous, a little shy with the ladies but still dashingly adorable, he learned to speak in a British accent, at times he had his shirt off to reveal his 6-pack abs… Oh, and he’s the Prince of Persia

David Belle is not human, like seriously. Parkour is awesome!

Believe it or not, I didn’t have big expectations with this film, mainly because I labeled it as a Disney flick — and forgot that it was for the most part a Jerry Buckheimer Production. Pirates of the Carribean anyone? I’m so gonna celebrate if it becomes that big, and you know, get 3 more sequels. But if not, I’m happy I did my part spreading the word and supporting it.

And I was supposed to watch Shrek this week! I mean Shrek’s pretty cool and everything; but let’s face it, he’s no Jake Gyllenhal (pronounced G-len-hal). Man was he not only hot (Yeah I know I said that already; can’t say that enough) but also a very talented young actor. He also knows how to have chemistry with a girl (or a guy, for that matter. Yes, think HARD which movie you saw him before), and he did his own stunts– DAMN is he the whole damn package! Oscar and blockbuster worthy! I can’t wait for more of his films (I’m going to relive his past ones, and you know, hope for more Prince of Persias).

I haven’t gushed this much about a guy, I mean, a film, since Robert Downey Jr. I feel they’re alike in so many ways. They can definitely act, and at the same time have a totally wicked sense of humor. I’m having a hard time deciding right now between them… but what the heck, I’ll take them both. I don’t want to play favorites :] Yeah, I’m into older men, they have this appeal to me. Experience is sexy right?
